Future school librarians know a lot about books, technology, and how to find and use information. They use their teaching skills to get students involved in asking questions and thinking deeply. They also use different strategies to help students become responsible online and to enjoy reading.

In 530, I gained insight on the importance of revisiting books to analyze them and introduce critical thinking skills. By compiling a new list of YA books, I was able to create a book club "deep thinking" role. With this in mind, learners would have leading questions to answer about their book and explain the deeper meaning of it.
