Planning for Instruction
Librarians work together with teachers and students to create learning activities that respect different cultures and stages of learning. These activities encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration, while also making sure everyone has fair, easy, and responsible access to information.

Throughout this program, I was able to gain experience with creating lessons and activities based on the AASL standards. I introduced my learners to the idea of citing sources through a lesson during their research project on ways to improve our school community through our garden or in the surrounding areas. I used a website that I used in 560 Scribbr.com to teach them how to ethically cite sources.
